TsukiGlass is primarily designed to enrich the aromas and flavors of whisky enjoyed neat. However, it’s also perfectly suitable for whisky stones, ice spheres, or large whisky cubes — making it an ideal choice whether you prefer your whisky neat, chilled with stones, or on the rocks.
The Glass Is Dishwasher Safe?
Yes, using the dishwasher is perfectly safe. For extra crystal sparkle, you can also finish with our polishing cloth to bring out its best shine.
Can the TsukiGlass be kept in the freezer?
TsukiGlass glasses can be stored in the freezer if desired. Since they are made from high-quality crystal, the risk of thermal shock is extremely low. Based on our testing and experience, the glasses remain safe and durable under normal use, so you can feel confident when enjoying them chilled. However, it is our responsibility to note that there is still a very minimal risk of thermal shock.

Why does TsukiGlass spell whisky without an 'e'?
You've got a keen eye! Both whisky and whiskey are correct, originating from translations of Scottish and Irish Gaelic forms of the term usquebaugh, meaning 'water of life'. It's thought that the Irish adopted the whiskey spelling to distinguish their spirit from the Scottish whisky, which was considered inferior quality in the late 1800s. Irish immigrants brought the whiskey spelling to the United States, so you'll see 'whiskey' in the United States and Ireland, and 'whisky' in Scotland, Canada, and most other regions. As TsukiGlass is inspired by the love of Scotch whisky and the Japanese landscape, we use the spelling 'whisky' in our communication.
